I looked out the window this morning and realized Spring has arrived. The trees and bushes lining our street are bursting with white and pink flowers. It is gorgeous! The birds are chirping happily and the lawn will soon need to be cut.

At the same time, I realized I’ve been so wrapped up in writing and submitting that I haven’t posted in almost a month. I don’t think that’s a bad thing as I’m working with passion. MC is almost polished, I’m 85% complete and loving the changes I’ve made. PP is taking shape, slowly but with superb detail. (check out my working page for detail on each ms) I’ve got several pending queries out, including one to a well known CA production company! I’m booked to attend two conferences so far this year where I plan to pitch to favorite editors. Continued persistence – that’s me. (and searching for luck doesn’t hurt!)

Also with Spring comes new energy and focus for training. Hubby and I are set to do several half and full marathons this year as we get ready for our next Ironman adventure in Utah, May of 2010. The running shoes are dusted off and getting some use. We took the bikes out yesterday for a brisk but awesome ride, and on a daily basis, I’ve been experimenting with new ‘clean eating’ recipes. New flavors for a new year — yum.
