I’m excited to share that I finally have a new book available.
The Chase is Over was released on June 28, 2019. I apologize to my readers for taking so long to get a new book written, but sometimes life throws you curveballs, events that stop the creativity and paralyze the heart.
When I think about it, I realize I lost my heart in a murky storm of emotion, pushed beyond my empathetic level. Dark, swirling sensations spinning until nothing was left. A total shut down, the well of tears bled dry. A hollow husk, my heart shriveled to nothing after the loss of a very dear friend.
Watching her fight for almost seven years tore me up inside. The depth of pain and sadness I felt for everything she went through, the strain it put on her family, the uncertainty. It all snowballed to the inability to write anything. I miss her so much!
I’m grateful for every memory we created together. That joy is tucked inside me to cherish on the sad days. After many months, I’ve finally come to a place where I can talk to Julie everyday. I can share the stories that are starting to bubble, the new messages that are forming in my heart. And I’m ready to pour all these new emotions onto the pages of several new books.
I now realize why I put Mystical Moments aside. I wasn’t emotionally ready to share Anya’s story. I am now. I ask Julie, who was always my second set of eyes for my manuscripts, to help channel the joy through my characters. My love for her, her husband, her kids, her parents will help soften the grief, hopefully decreasing the number of sad days in the future. May Mystical Moments be a celebration for Julie! Hugs.
