When revisions take over …

June 23, 2011

My revisions on Mystical Connections are almost finished, or so I thought. Romance writer, Jenna Nichols, and hard-nosed journalist, Aidan Scott have other ideas in mind. They’ve both decided we need more conflict and drama. So, they morphed at least four new scenes to help strengthen the story line, and I must admit, they are incredible scenes.

I guess I’m in for a few more weeks of editing to ensure the scenes are done to their liking, and the threads are pulled through the rest of the manuscript. 🙂

Goal is to get this baby in my agents hands by Mid-July. Cross your fingers, say a prayer, wish me luck. Until next time, hugs, Christine.

  1. Hi Christine! It always amazes me how your characters take on a life all their own. It’s very exciting to follow along with their never ending transformations. It’s like watching a child grow up. 🙂

  2. Hi Christine –
Good luck with the edits. I’m in the same editing boat with the morphing and changing. I more I write, the more I learn, the more I need to change in the story….
Crossing my fingers for the mid July deadline.
    Hugs

  8. Mid-July deadline pushed back due to …
Signing a publishing contract!!! I now have a deadline of Dec. 31 for a novella for the anthology I’m publishing with three good friends. The book will feature Annette Blair, and introduce Lynn Jenssen, Christine Mazurk and Jeanine Spikes.

    So excited!
    Christine
