Thanksgiving weekend in St. Louis was chilly and wet. We needed the rain, so it was good, but hubby and I were a bit under the weather as we were both fighting colds, a normal occurence several weeks after a competition. As it turns out, both were a blessing. Being sick forced us to slow down and just relax. We hung out and did things we normally wouldn’t do – we actually went to see a movie in a theater. Wow, right?

We went to see August Rush. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. It was spectacular. The cast was incredible, the story line – fabulous, the music – fantastic. This is one that I will buy when it is available on DVD, and I’ll watch it over and over again.
