Scary times. Trying to navigate these Corona-virus, Covid-19 days is unsettling and I think it’s skewing my writing. While being isolated has given me more writing hours, I find the emotions of writing are different and I wonder if that will change my characters’ emotions as well.

If it does, will it be for the better? A more emotional wave as the story unfolds and their hearts’ decisions are made? Will moments become more tender, more encompassing to bring the families of Mystical Moments even closer together then they were in Mystical Connections?

As I get deeper into the story, new elements are evolving like Anya learning to deal with her own psychic gift. It scares her but intrigues her at the same time. The big dilemma for her is how to share what’s happening with Dave and her family.

Will they think she’s nuts? Making up stuff? Or will they help her embrace her gift? Does the Universe work in more ways than one to help get the right messages across?

I guess I need to get back to work to find out. That’s one of the many perks of being a writer. Nothing needs to be decided until the words fill the page. Let’s see where this journey takes us, shall we?!
