I’ve neglected my blog – I’m sorry, but I’ve been busy revising my WIP’s (works in progress). The National Conference always gives us writers something to think about. We (or at least I do) reevaluate our work and look for ways to improve it. Well, that’s all part of the process, right?
Is it tight enough? Compelling enough? Are we telling the true story of our heart? Will the reader care about that? And if not, why leave it in? What can we twist or turn to make it even more exciting? A real page-turner? Are there better ways to paint that scene?
I guess works in progress are in progress until they get printed in black and white. And even then, are they ever truly done? hmm – interesting, isn’t it?
